Rooted in a passion for storytelling, South Florida-based artist Anthony JV Rufolo uses photography to look a little closer at the world. His work explores the male form, confidence, and the unapologetic pleasure of being seen, capturing contemporary portraits that live somewhere between fine art and raw human energy. Inspired by the dramatic lighting of Italian master Caravaggio, Anthony employs deep shadows and high contrast to bring a theatrical, emotional intensity to his subjects—celebrating masculinity, sensuality, and the stories that refuse to be boxed in.
