Rooted in a passion for storytelling, South Florida-based artist Anthony JV Rufolo uses photography to look a little closer at the world. His work explores the male form, confidence, and the unapologetic pleasure of being seen, capturing contemporary portraits that live somewhere between fine art and raw human energy. Inspired by the dramatic lighting of Italian master Caravaggio, Anthony employs deep shadows and high contrast to bring a theatrical, emotional intensity to his subjects—celebrating masculinity, sensuality, and the stories that refuse to be boxed in.

The answers to your questions
How will I know how to pose?
You don't need to pose! We will direct you throughout the shoot. We will instruct you what to wear, how to stand, and even where to look!
What if I think I need to lose 10 lbs before booking my shoot?
This is one of the most common things we hear and it’s proven to be the same over and over again - You are perfect for this experience, right now, as you are. We will make sure you look amazing!
What should I bring with me?
Anything that makes you feel good! Some things you may want to bring are a pair of jeans, a white tank top, t-shirts or tank tops, bathing suits, underwear, a white button down shirt, a tie, a suit jacket, sports gear, hats, sneakers, shoes and flip flops (we are in Florida!) Remember to give your clothes a quick iron prior to the shoot. You may also bring anything relating to your hobbies or interests like sports equipment, musical instruments, books, etc.
What about hair and makeup?
Usually men don’t need hair and makeup. However, it is available upon request for an additional fee. For women, hair and makeup is always available for an additional fee and recommended, however you are welcome to do your own.
Where is Wilton Manors, Florida?
Wilton Manors is a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. It is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States and a part of the Miami metropolitan area.
What happens when I arrive for my shoot?
After a warm welcome, Anthony JV Rufolo will discuss your shoot with you and go through everything you have bought, putting together different styles for each pose. You will then be directed into poses depending on the style of shoot and the type of images you are looking to achieve.
How long does my session last?
A mini photo session is approximately a half hour and includes about 15 minutes of studio time. A full photo session is about two to three hours with about 1 1/2 hours of studio time. Besides your actual shoot time, we allow ample time before and after the photoshoot for your personalized photoshoot experience.
When and how do I see my photos?
You will be invited to your design consultation after your photoshoot where you will have the opportunity to purchase wall art, custom folios and images, and albums. We carefully select the best shots from your photoshoot and help you choose how best to display them.
Who sees the photographs?
No one but you and Anthony JV Rufolo will ever see your images. Anthony will photograph and do all retouching in-house. Should we wish to use your images for any reason, we will seek written permission from you first.
Do the images get photoshopped?
Every image you choose to order will go through post production by Anthony JV Rufolo. This includes all in-house retouching with final say on the level of photoshopping dictated by you.
How much will I be looking to spend on my photos?
There is something for most everyone on our price list although you should expect to invest from $250 to $975 or more depending on the packages and products you decide to showcase your images with. This is an investment in you and it's totally up to you.
How will I receive my order?
We send your photographs out to you via US First Class Mail. At your request, alternative postage methods can be arranged and additional fees may apply. You can also pick up at our Wilton Manors, Florida location.
Where is your studio located?
Our studio is located at 2378 Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors, Florida, USA. You'll find us in the center of town on "the Drive". We are located about 15 minutes from the beaches in Fort Lauderdale and about 40 minutes north of Miami.
Is there a place to park?
There are many metered street parking spaces in front of, across the street, and very close to our studio. Contact us if you need any assistance. Our studio and facilities are ADA compliant.
Is the studio on the first floor?
Yes, our studio is located on the ground floor with no steps. Our bathroom is also ADA compliant.
